Upperfield Farm, sat on the shores of Carsington Water is a fantastic place for families and friends to gather together and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is approached by a no-through road and so is quite, peaceful, and safe for children.
This characterful, old farmhouse provides comfortable and rustic accommodation with sleeping space for 22 guests in 10 bedrooms, spread over 2 floors plus two large living rooms. Many windows have stunning lake-views, or green countryside to look out over.
The huge dining room has a wood burning stove and a table large enough for 22 people to sit together and enjoy special celebratory meals. Bed linen is provided and beds will be made up on arrival. Heating, logs, water and electric are all provided. There's parking for up to 6 cars. WiFi throughout. The quaint village of Kirk Ireton is within walking distance and has a shop, a traditional alehouse (The Barely Mow - with beer still served from a jug). Many supermarkets can be found in Ashbourne (7 miles) and Derby (13 miles).

We work with a local catering company called The Rhubarb Kitchen who opperate from Wirksworth a local town 3 miles away and from Kirk Ireton the village a mile up the road.
Lisa the owner says;
"My food style is non-fussy, home-cooked food with bags of flavour, and nostalgia plays a huge part in my creations. If you come to Rhubarb to help celebrate an occasion, or simply order an afternoon tea for two, you will always, without fail, experience a menu made with love."
